."When are you going to update? How was Moab?" Sheesh... who knew anybody actually read this thing.
Yes, after an exhausting summer, one year ago...eeek! We hauled the fresh built rigs to Moab for a week of fun in the desert. We ran a mix of hard to mild trails including Coyote, Pritchet, Rusty Nail, Helldorado, Steel Bender, Metal Masher, etc.
And since it's been over a year... we just got back from Moab a week ago doing the same. This time we swung through Penrose, Colorado on the way up to run the Independence Trails. Then it was over to Moab for the week and a lovely time at "Grandpa's" aka Danny Grimes. Danny was super hospitable and we did our best to fatten him up all week with home-cooked breakfast and dinner, Texas style!!!
As for the rigs... wonderful. We've run the new setups for a year now and couldn't be happier. When you can crawl Rockpile in Pritchet Canyon, you are a happy wheeler. We've done it two years now. The rigs work well.
